Yeah… yeah… I know we’re already 22 days into the new year but there is never a bad time for reflection.

Time goes by real quick and, especially during quiet weeks, the feeling of being unproductive can hang around like an welcomed guest. Reflection is necessary for perspective.

I was just going through my camera roll from this past year and picked 12 of my favorite photos, or photos of moments, from 2012.

2012 was the year of weddings… I think I went to four or five. They were all fabulous. I can’t pick a favorite. This photo was taken on the beach in St. Augustine, FL at my buddy Corey’s (co-designer of the Wander Years cover) wedding.

April: Easter show at Rockwood Music Hall. April 2012. The room was filled with a great audience willing to get pegged by Easter eggs.

May: Recording Wander Years. The most fulfilling and exciting experience of my entire life.

101 Problems But A Dalmatian Aint One

Thank you to all who made it out last night. As usual, Rockwood is the shiznit. To anyone new who hadn’t seen us play, thanks for sticking around and checking us out.

We are still in search of a name, but everyone’s suggestions were great… I’d say the oddest/most creative one was “Freddy Hall and the 101 Problems But A Dalmatian Aint One” – it’s a mouth full but I bet the domain name is still available.

This weekend was nuts – Saturday I went to a beautiful wedding in MI then flew back Sunday morning – caught the final show of How To Succeed on Broadway – then rocked the wood. I didn’t even really have time to change so this might be one of the very few pictures of me playing in a suit:
